Next time you're in your local bookstore, pick up a copy! They've recently redesigned the magazine, and it looks really nice- definitely appealing to a younger audience. The editors have also started including articles that are of interest to beginners as well as experienced seamsters.

Wow, Aimee, congratulations! That's amazing! I can totally understand your giddiness as Threads is such an out-in-the-big-big-world, been-around-town-for-awhile-now publication, and since the redesign has been juicy to behold. You just know the staff there are super choosy seamstressy writers and editors. YAY for you and your awesome company! (and btw, did you catch wind of the sad news re: Blueprint not being published anymore? another reason to clutch harder to the glossies we love that remain in print)

Congrats - I didn't really pay enough attention to my issue...Unfortunately, I've kind of lost interest in Threads. I prefer more down-home practical sewing to couture : D

Wowee! Congratulations, Aimee! This is fantastic. And I absolutely adore this top. I actually have been look for a top that looks just like this to go under a suit I purchased. It seemed like it would be too complicated for me to sew. But you've inspired me. so I'm placing an order and hitting the stash for suitable fabric. Although I really want the shirt they picture in the magazine. And I'm glad they've redesigned. I haven't looked in a long time so I'll have to pick up this copy.
